Silbat Showcases Innovative Long-Duration Energy Storage Technology at TREE Webinar

Silbat recently presented our pioneering long-duration energy storage technology during the Thermal Radiation to Electrical Energy Conversion (TREE) webinar, organised by the CNRS in France. This initiative, supported by the CNRS Institute of Engineering for the period 2025- 2029, unites 20 French laboratories, various non-CNRS research organisations, and private companies dedicated to advancing the conversion of thermal radiation into electricity.

Transformative Technology

At Silbat, we are developing a transformative battery technology based on molten silicon. By harnessing silicon's high latent heat, our solution becomes energy-dense and cost-effective, enabling renewable energy plants to operate continuously and sustainably, providing 24/7 energy.

Our participation in the TREE webinar underscores our commitment to advancing energy storage solutions that facilitate the integration of renewable energy into the grid while ensuring economic viability.

We extend our gratitude to the audience for their engaging discussions, and a special thanks to Rodolphe Vaillon for hosting the session. We appreciate everyone who contributed to the success of this important scientific forum.

Stay tuned for more updates on our developments and contributions to the energy sector.
